Summer Reflections

A busy summer! I learned that outdoor events just aren’t my thing. :( I’ll be vending at a fair around Halloween and Thanksgiving, and hopefully the December holidays.

I was in the SCA when I was younger (SHOCKER). My friend was recently elevated to landed baroness, so I’ve been making largesse for her. I’m hoping these are items I can add to my own store, too.

Last week, I taught a summer camp for teens: historic cooking. It was really fun, though a lot of work! I love being able to share my history knowledge. And cooking knowledge, come to that. I hope to lead some iteration of that class in the future.

In September, I’ll be teaching another Drawing for Beginners class. Those are so fun! I actually offered it twice over the summer, but not enough people signed up. This will be my fourth time teaching the class, so I’m feeling really confident.

Now that I’ve finished my Chinuk Wawa program, I’m not sure what I’ll do with my free time! More art, hopefully!

. . .clean my studio. :/
