with an AXE

I decided to get really weird for my next experiment: washing the shirt first, and then drawing on it. Haven’t noticed a real difference so far.

I’m a member of an axe-throwing league, and have despaired at my lack of axe-themed clothing. A little medieval guy seemed the perfect way to solve this.

I turned to the Middle English Dictionary for an appropriate saying:

a1500 On 1391 (StJ-O 209)p.161 : The ax was sharpe, the stokke was harde.

what is kerning?!

From La Somme le Roy, France ca. 1290-1300 (British Library, Add. 28162, fol. 12v)
